About HumanRelay
HumanRelay is the programmable layer for human work: an API-first marketplace where software and AI agents dispatch physical-world tasks to verified human workers, and get geo-tagged, machine-checkable proof back.
What we're building
A lot of real-world work still needs a person on the ground: checking a price, confirming a delivery, auditing a shelf, proving someone was actually at a site. HumanRelay closes that loop in four steps: Request, a task is created with a location and what proof it needs; Dispatch, it reaches a verified worker nearby; Evidence, the worker submits proof bound to a one-time code; Settle, payment goes out on approval. The same loop runs over a REST API, an MCP server for AI agents, the web, and mobile.
Trust, tiered
Workers climb a five-tier trust ladder as they verify more of who they are: Basic, Geo-Verified, ID-Verified, Ent-Cleared, and Licensed. An employer sets the minimum tier a task requires, so higher-stakes work goes to more thoroughly checked workers.
Why South Africa first
HumanRelay is a global company. South Africa is our first market: a large, mobile-first workforce, and real demand from employers who need physical-world verification at scale. What we build for South Africa is built to extend everywhere the same problem exists.
Where we are today
HumanRelay is in active development and not yet publicly available. This site is a pre-launch waitlist for workers and a way for employers and agents to reach us about a pilot. A UK company is being registered; once that's done, our pages will carry its registered details.
Get in touch
Workers can join the waitlist on the home page. Employers and developers can email hello@humanrelay.ai, or see how to reach us.
